I did not rate it a 1 star because I have unfortunately purchased a book that was far worse based on ratings. Good points: It does actually have a plot that slowly unfolds in more or less a logical sequence Good editing and no misspellings Plenty of sex scenes Bad points: Suppose to be humorous - just plain silly Plenty of sex scenes that seem to be more of a check list to be included. Example: 5 pages of plot, must have 5 pages devoted to sex and then check the list as to which position/type of sex has not been mentioned/described yet and that's the one - check it off the list. I actually forced myself to read the book and that is a rare occurrance with me. I enjoy good erotica but the sex scenes did not do anything for me and found myself rather bored than turned on. I really felt connected to the story and what was happening to the characters. It was snort-out-loud funny in places, heartwarming in others and HOT HOT HOT in others! It was a brilliant length, the story was well paced and the ending wasn't rushed, leaving me with a happy-ever-after type smile.
