Every millennium the most innocent angel in all of Heaven is sacrificed to the most evil demon in Hell. Elandra is this angel. Though she fears for her life and her virtue, she never dreams that she will find true love in Hell.

Raziel is half-demon, brought up by his powerful father to take control of the underworld. But when Elandra is presented to him, he can’t bring himself to hurt her. Instead he lets her go.

Back in Heaven, Elandra can’t forget the beautiful demon with the blazing eyes. Raziel’s touch has started a fire in her soul and though she knows it is forbidden, she can’t help wishing to see him again. Their love must be a secret, but Elandra’s pure beauty incites the demonic half of Raziel’s nature. Can a demon love an angel without hurting her? For if Raziel is unable to keep his lust in check, Elandra will be cast out of Heaven for being…defiled.

The plot fizzles out for me after about the halfway point, but up until then, this story is, in a word, erotic. To make it a phrase instead of a word, erotic as hell. More, please! I keep re-reading it, just can't stop myself, although I usually stop around that halfway-ish point. Starts out super innocent and becomes naughty in a cute sort of way that makes it fun and new. Loved it. Read this book!

Cute story with a sexy angel and a sexy half demon son of the devil. The story for the most part comes off as innocent and just keeps getting hotter as it goes on. They way the author portrays heaven and hell, makes you feel like you are there. Excellent character development. Loved this book.

Good Book. I can usually count on Evangiline Anderson to deliver. Only one warning I agree with another reviewer it absolutely pushes religous sensibilities. However I would still definitely recommend reading.

One word: G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S. The author's creative world-building shine in this star-crossed erotic love story. Elandra and Raziel complement one another beautifully as misfits of their respective devine communities attracted to one another, finding the love and passionate completion together. I would have liked to read more storytelling and less sex. Yes, I understand this is an erotic romance, frequent, explicit sex required, yadda yadda yadda, but there is such a thing as oversexed erotica. The storytelling "fizzles out" about two thirds into the book in favor of lengthy sexual description. It does pick up for a bang-up finale, however. Raziel's rescue of Elandra is truly thrilling (but expected -- too much hinting earlier in the story.) The book's flow suffers from technical problems, including adverb excess, too much passive voice, and repetition. Overall, the story's so good the tech issues didn't bother me much. Warning: folks with moderate religious sensibilities might take offense to the world-building and mythos. Heaven and its inmates are not portrayed in a flattering light and this might affect reader enjoyment. I can't help wondering what Jesus Christ would have to say about the concepts of forgiveness and redemption as practiced by "Gabriel" in the story.

Night Owl Romance Review An angel who is a little naughty. A demon with a splash of good. When fate throws them together to consummate a timeless contract to keep Heaven and Hell balanced, no one expected what happened. They fell in love. How can they be together? But more importantly, how can they stay apart? This was a really different spin for a story. The childishness of Elandra and her constant desire for more led her inevitably on the path of defilement by her demon lover. But is it really defilement if it is what you desire? Raziel has always struggled with who he is. Not evil enough for his father, he puts on a good show but there is a pesky streak of goodness in him that Elandra unknowingly brings to light and makes stronger. While both are older than time, they were both innocent and naïve in the ways of love. Like children they explored what drew them, and instead of their downfall found what they were always meant to be; together. Very romantic and innovative while delivering an erotic punch. Highly recommended.
