Nice plot, great characters, and steamy love scenes all make this a must read. I wish EC would do this author a solid and edit her with the attention she deserves. She has enough on her hands guarding a geek and his idiot sister without having to deal with testosterone overload; even if they are yummy enough to eat. Throw in some mercs determined to take her charges, two gorgeous guys she's dreamed of, but feels she can't trust and a libido suddenly in hyper-drive and things get hot in a hurry. They know she belongs to them, she isn't the same-yet she is- and her passion is totally opposite; yet Davik and Camin must do all they can in the time and circumstances allowed to make Denise realize she has come home- with them. But the men keep making assumptions and repeating mistakes until finally tensions erupt in a most spectacular display. Know how if you ever got a do-over you wouldn't make the same mistakes or decisions as the first go-round? Wanna bet? Human nature (emphasis on human) being what it is I'm betting it's harder to change behavior than most think. Throw in the lovely twist Ms. Airies spins in this tale and the complications are just begging. There is lots of action, plenty of drama, an intriguing supposition and some really hot sex to hold the interest.
