The third Divinity Warriors book, set in the Divinity Universe.

An outcast because of her psychic abilities, Paige doesn’t expect her people to rescue her when a zealous sect of Faerians sacrifices her to their gods. Thrown through a fairy ring to a new dimensional plane, drugged on ambrosia, she is compelled to seduce the first man she meets. Only when the effects wear off and she’s left with a sexy, insatiable husband expecting more than she’s willing to give, does Paige discover the true extent of what the fairies have done.

Ordered by the king to marry, Sir Aidan of Fallenrock is dead set against taking a bartered bride. He believes his people should be patient and wait for the gods to bless them. When the beautiful Lady Paige comes through the sacred ring, kissing and touching him like she knows their joined fate, Aidan’s sure he’s being rewarded—until his new bride tries to back out of their marriage.

Ever been feared or hated because you're different? Paige knows that feeling all too well. When a bunch of Faerians decide to appease their "God" by throwing her through the fairy ring to another dimension full of big, gruff warriors who believe these women are the Gods gift of bride to them, she knows her troubles have just begun; well as soon as the aphrodisiac they gave her wears off and she's not compelled to "love up" the first man she encounters. Bartered brides! Not the way Sir Aidan plans to pick a wife, but his king has other ideas. Ordered to the claiming ceremony to pick a bride, Aidan is surprised by the luscious Lady Paige when she emerges from the sacred ring and acts as though she is there for him. First thinking he's been rewarded by the Gods, Aidan begins to wonder if instead he's been chosen for some dire punishment when his wickedly wonderful wife suddenly decides she wants to "undo" the claiming. Can he make her love him enough to want to stay? This third instalment was a treat to read in many ways, but I do have one minor complaint. Except for a very small segment in the middle the other women weren't mentioned. Due to the interaction of the first two it made this one a bit more distant, yet still a fully intriguing read. I adored the differences of emotional levels in regards to the men and the women- it can still be recognized today- men not knowing how to show or recognize love and women slowly showing them the way. The sex is still steamy, the humor still evident, the wit and style growing with each book.

I really enjoyed this story and loved the plot. Not erotica, more sensual in nature but a great read!
