The first two books were stories in their own right while the last books seemed to just be one more step to the finish, without any really stand alone quality. Shirley on 12/28/2009, said: Glad I finished the series, after book 2 & 3 wasn't sure because of the weakness of following a book series - the redundancy of formula writing - different names but the same characters & sex. This author did show that her heroines were different people, the alpha males were good though not as developed and even though sexual acts can be redundant she did create different scenarios for each book in the series.
