The writing is disjointed, the style goes from sweet to erotic and back and, in my opinion, the author didn't manage to make it work together. I was confused about time setting, is it contemporary or historical. I'm not sure but I think taking thief's hands would refer to historical but the speech of characters feels modern, at the very least not distinctly historical. There was no real ending.
