A Divinity Warrior book set in the Divinity Universe.

Sorin of Firewall lives in a land forever at war. In fact, the Starian men are so busy fighting, their marriage ceremony has been reduced to a “will of the gods” event where they simply pick a woman out of a lineup and claim her as a wife. With women becoming scarce, it’s necessary to trade with the off world Divinity Corporation for brides. Duty-bound to attend the ceremony, Sorin has no intention of picking a bride, let alone one from another dimension. That is, until he sees Lilith, the bewitching woman sent by the gods to reward—or punish?—him.

Lilith, a data analyst for Divinity, is betrayed by the Corporation and wakes up in a primitive, uncharted dimension filled with warriors who know only war and duty. Her fear of becoming a sex slave to a big, beefy knight becomes all too real when a warrior of god-like proportions claims she’s his new woman. As Lilith discovers, there are worse fates than being the focus of Sorin’s skillful and earthy seduction.

When Lilith awakens in a really primitive, virtually unknown dimension, being a data analyst can be a right handy thing. At least it helps to hold the fear at bay until she can discover why Divinity would betray an employee and send them here where they're expected to parade in front of some big, beefy warriors who's only thought is "mine to do as I please with". Sorin is a warrior well respected by all others, yet his king has sent him to the breeding ceremonies to pick a wife. He'd much rather pick a fight than pick a woman out of a bunch of off-world, bartered brides sent by the Divinity Corporation. That is until he spots the lovely Lilith. But has she been sent by the gods or some demon to show him the quick way to Hell? If women weren't such a scarcity in their own dimension, these weird women from others wouldn't be necessary. I have to say that I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this one, but Ms. Pillow managed to keep it interesting (although I found Lilith a bit of a contradiction at times) and keep the womens' characters straight. There was humor, good descriptives that created great pictures, hunky men who were both stubborn and tender, trials and tribulations aplenty to keep the action interesting with some steamy sex to keep it warm.
