Ian is a man who has been frozen in stone for over two hundred years because of a curse. Izzy is a woman who is being haunted by visits from a lover in her dreams who never responds to her touch. These two collide when Izzy spoke the words that release Ian from the stone and now they must fight against the evil set out to destroy them or lose their chance at love. The characters in this book are fascinating and quirky, with strong wills and intelligent personalities. Ms. Nina has fleshed them out wonderfully and has woven them into an edgy and complex plot. The story flows along nicely and Ms. Nina adds just the right touch of drama. I like how the passion and red hot sexual tension blends well within the story and doesn’t seem out of place. This book is a fast-paced, page-turner that I really enjoyed.
