This book was good enough for me to save to my Kindel, but it wasn't good enough for me to buy another one of the author's books. The sex scenes had a good premise, but they felt rushed. The storyline was predictable and unengaging.

Danni of Night Owl Romance - 3 / 5 Hearts - Marian rents a home in Fear Point to get away from her cheating ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately the house turns out to be haunted. Now Marian has to deal with the ghost of the owner of the house she rented. Jon is determined to break the curse that sends him back to dormancy every third time he has sex. To break the curse he has to win her hurt. Can he win Marian’s trust? Or will her past get in the way? Cicada was an interesting and entertaining read. The story started slow for me. Afton Locke writes rich details and descriptions that add to the story. There are some parts of the story, which may make readers uncomfortable, such as Marian and Jon’s first encounter. But overall, Cicada was a story which will hold your attention. http://www.nightowlromance.com
