Judith on 8/8/2011, said: One of those stories that isn't an easy love story to read--lots of history between these two lovers that makes resolving their troubles uncertain. Jim's mother doesn't help and Julie's penchant for taking off when things become difficult also make for a love story that is protracted over several years' time. I ordinarily don't like these kinds of stories, but found this story one that held my interest and ended up being a very satisfying reading experience.
