Pamela on 9/8/2011, said: I love shifter stories however I was very disappointed in this book. I read it to the end, however, as another reader mentioned it was because i kept hoping for more. There was no story, no character development and nothing to draw me into this book. While I enjoy good sex scenes and sensuality, there was neither in this book. Imagine if Thomas Hardy wrote a romance, you wouldn't expect it to be hot or really romantic, just dry and overly wordy. A lot of times as I was reading I had to go back and reread the last couple of pages because I got lost and was confused with what was going on. If I hadn't been so curious to see if there was something worthwhile about the book I probably wouldnt have finished it. I was very disappointed with the long winded descriptions and thoughts that went in circles. I found myself saying WTF on more than one occasion. The characters were wishy washy, and for me i like my alphas to be alphas, not indecisive sometimers. I was very upset with this book and if i could i would want a refund.
