One of Ms. Day's better novels. The alpha male was done well and the steamy scenes were romantic and not turned into an over abundance of eroticism, only. Good storyline and character chemistry. Amanda on 7/19/2010, said: I had actually forgotten this little gem was in my 'To Be Read" folder, but after scouring for something to read I am glad I found it again!! This was probably one of my top reads for this year so far (even if I am in 2010 now hehe). I really liked how the author took the plight of the Yahi and folded it into this story! I definately had tears when Lone Wolf heard about the history of his people and then got goosebumps as he tried to accept that he was the sole survivor and would now have to exist in a different time. I was so taken with this book, I then went on to read the sequel - Warrior of the Past - (even though it was 2am).
