After this story, you can go to Shiloh's website before you read further and read Leandra and Mike's story and Malachi and Kelsey's story, if you are following these books in order, as Shiloh changed publishers for further Hunter books and then came back with Belonging, which I read and was totally confused about how Kelsey was married to Malachi, as Belonging is like book 9 in the series. Malachi has his own book and then Leandra and Mike/Malachi and Kelsey have a one book combo with both their stories, not to mention there are more Hunter books after that that are not part of EC. This was my favorite so far. I liked the characters and the story pulled me in. The bad guy was the best that the hunters have faced so far in the series. I've read books 1 - 6 at this point and like books 4 - 6 best. However poor editing/layout is still a problem. For example, you'll be reading along and then all of a sudden the story switches to different people and a different situation. Usually a book has an extra space between paragraphs or a symbol to show the transition, but my ebook (mobibook version) did not. It made it confusing at many points. I'd have to back up and re-read to figure out what was going on. Not the author's fault; the publisher should do a better job with this.
