A night of careless passion and Rose finds herself pregnant. Mark insists on getting married before he goes overseas. Moments after the wedding, Rose is left standing alone before the Justice-of-the-Peace as Mark hurries to catch the plane that will take him to Beirut. As the smoke clears, a nation sits in shock at the tragic loss of life. Mark's family anxiously awaits news of his fate. Dennis goes to Jacksonville, North Carolina. He is shocked to find that not only is the marriage legal but he will soon be an uncle. Dennis is well aware that duty often requires sacrifice, but looking into emerald eyes framed with crimson curls, this new responsibility may be above and beyond the call of duty.
