I felt like the story was just starting when it ended but as I have just gotten into the 2nd book Shared Spirits and they seem to go together. I hope to learn more about these characters and the legend. No vampires, werewolves or fae...instead this series incorporates the native american legend of the thunderbird. This first short story I would have liked better if it was a full novel.
