Her body is his canvas.

When Makena Brady walks into SkIntense Body Art, she expects nothing more than a little prick, and a small tattoo to satisfy her quest for independence from her "good girl" lifestyle. What she gets instead is a sensual awakening.

Darq Stone is an artist and Makena's body is the perfect canvas. He works his magic on her, bringing her to the edge of reason with a temporary tattoo airbrushed on her inner thigh.

Enthralled by the excitement of lying nearly naked while he paints on her, Makena yearns for more, but can she handle the real thing? Darq is much more than he seems and once he brands her with a permanent mark, she'll be drawn into his world forever.

I rated this book with the other one - Slither and wasn't going to say anything on this site - but after reading the book again - it's simple - this is a great story! Hot, realistic, I loved the characters..... Enjoy

I wasn't all that impressed with it. Its one of those stories where the characters are supposed to fall in love within one-, two-days of meeting, but I just didn't buy it. I couldn't help but think after she got the tattoo (and "bonded") that they would probably regret it since they didn't really know each other. And what's with his "I don't want to have sex with you the first night because it'll be a one-night stand and I won't see you again. But I'll have sex with you on the second night, reconsider and leave." ? Rather jerk-y. And the way the author had him talk came off pretentious to me. I'm glad I didn't buy both Skin and Slither at the same time, as I'm not interested in reading the latter.

Samantha Ann of Night Owl Romance - 4.75 / 5 - Reviewer Top Pick - Wow! Hot, hot, hot! I was right there all the way with Makena and Darq. The author paints an intense portrait of these two as they explore the possibility of a relationship and what it might mean to them both. The slow, methodical way Darq brings Makena down the path of sensual delights is exquisite. But Darq has a secret which the author unveils to the reader with tantalizing slowness as well. This is one well worth picking up. - http://www.nightowlromance.com
