The quality of Mr. Mabeuse's writing is extraordinary, especially for erotica and especially for true BDSM. Throughout the book the doctor is pushing pushing pushing Abigail, then when she seemingly "breaks free" and explores her own sexuality, he does a 180 and only wants her to himself.
