Elizabeth on 11/14/2010, said: Was agonizing to read. A trip to the dentist is more enjoyable. I find it hard to believe that a woman in her 30's would be that confused as to what she wants. I understand a woman being wary and cautious about being hurt but my gosh do you have to drag the issue to death? I was at the point of screaming throughout the book. Don't know if this is the author's writing style or the way she chose to portray the lead female character but I didn't find Temptest likeable. Temp was a woman who had doubts that could drive you crazy but if you are a woman who has been in her shoes you would understand what she is saying. Lay was a man who was living with the lesson that love was unreal but he knew he wanted Temp. I don't know many men that would have gone to so much to be with a woman who was so doubtless about her feelings for him or his for her. I loved how she bought them together and how the story unfolded. If you want to read a close to reality story of love and wanting, this is the story for you.
