I liked the romance and the harsher BDSM elements (lots of whips). I liked all the characters, but sometimes found the dialog stilted and the love/sex scenes lacking chemistry. Some of the other scenes just didn't add enough to the story. Could have used some editing. For example, in one sentence it says that they opted not to take her aunt to the hospital.
