Book 6 in the Nature of Desire series.

When his father dies, Thomas is forced to abandon a burgeoning art career in New York. As difficult as it was to give up his lifelong dream, it's nothing next to walking away from the man he loves. Marcus taught him to embrace who he is, a sexual submissive who responds to the touch of only one Master. But why would the sophisticated Marcus need some farm kid from the South?

Then Marcus shows up and offers him a way to continue his art career and help his family. There's only one hitch — he asks Thomas to spend a week with him in the Berkshires. Thomas knows he should refuse. But he's never been able to say no to his Master.

As boring as watching paint dry. I couldn't stand it and had to stop reading after forcing myself through 80 percent of this trite tripe.

Very well written, with characters you can really connect with. I can't wait to read more from this author!

This was my first m/m, and the first BDSM story that really gave me that light bulb moment where it all started to make sense. It's a beautiful story, beautiful writing, and it's destined to stay at the top of my re-read list.

The best love story I have ever read, regardless of genre.

I did not think I would enjoy reading a M/M story, but after reading the other books in this series, and seeing how good they were I order this book and "OMG" not only is it the best book in this series, it became one of my best love story and got me into othe M/M books.

This was my first m/m read, and I relished every word. I trusted Joey to guide me through this genre...this story is amazing. I was so invested in Marcus's and Thomas's relationship. Their love story captured my heart and soul.

This was my first Joey W Hill read. Now, it is the first of many. The writing is well done, gorgeous, emotional and honest. The characters are heartbreaking and beloved for their perfection and flaws. I could barely turn off my computer for want of reading it all. I think I need to buy a print copy too. It was one I will want to read over and over again, as I do all my favorite books. I can only hope to write this well some day.

Beautiful writing. I'm not keen on the M/m story line.

Not being into m/m at all made me wonder whether I should even read this one, in spite loving this author and this series. But I didn't want to miss any character development that I might need to enjoy the rest of the series, so I went for it, figuring I could skim the turn-off parts. There were no turn-off parts. None. This may well be my favorite book by Joey and that's saying something. The development of the characters throughout is fantastic, the conflict engrossing, it's resolution redeeming beyond my hopes, the romance incredibly deep, the love scenes unbelievably scorching. I'm out of superlative adjectives for the moment. Just read it.
