Book 4 in the Nature of Desire Series.

This book is a direct sequel to Ice Queen and is not intended to be a stand-alone title.

Some stories can't be contained between the covers of just one book. In Ice Queen, Tyler helped Mistress Marguerite fulfill the mentoring requirement The Zone club imposes on all its Dominant members, to learn about BDSM from the submissive's perspective. Though Marguerite is one of The Zone's most sought-after Mistresses, Tyler is convinced she is a "switch", a closet submissive. But the truth that is revealed is more remarkable than that.

As he begins to unravel the complex and terrible layers of her past, Tyler must do what he's never been willing to do before. Open up his own soul, offering Marguerite his own dark places in order to help them both heal. Only then will they be able to surrender to a force stronger even than The Zone's most powerful Master and Mistress—a force that can bind them together forever.

Reader Advisory: This intense book deals with myriad psychological issues including incest and violence toward women and children. Contains a scene of females exploring their sensuality together.

Well, I'm exhausted, just finished Mirror of my Soul - where on earth does Joey get her plots from and how does she keep everything straight in her head - I'm still reeling. What an earthquake of emotions required to read these 2 great books about Tyler and Marguerite. I'll need to read some trashy romance novels for a couple of weeks to get my head back on straight. Would so love to live in this world, every character is someone to treasure - AWESOME JOEY!

Some people will HATE this book. There is serious violence here; children are put at risk and traumatized. There is rape/ incest, forced incest, and child abuse, catatonia after psychological trauma, etc. But I really liked this book. while I have never done or will ever do this kind of activity, i really enjoyed reading about it. But that didn't matter so much as this was not a story about a lifestyle, but people looking for a way to survive with their hearts and souls intact after devastating loss coupled with emotional and physical injury.

This story will tear your heart out!! Smoking hot love scenes with hero that we all wish we had in our beds. You must read ice queen first but I think mirror is better of the two. I will read all of her books! This is one of the best Ellora's writers.

This was the sequel to the "Ice Queen" and it was also a great read. I didn't find it quite as interesting as the first read. But, it rated a close second. It wasn't quite as fast paced as the first, but it's definitely worth the read. My only complaint about this book is the ending was drawn out a little too long. Still a great book. Keep them coming.

I have no real words to offer for a review beyond, read what I wrote for Ice Queen. that says it all. These two books more than any of the others, are worthy of 50 stars. seriously. they're THAT good.

Ms Hill has again written an enthralling story. I did not think after 'Ice Queen' the second part of the story would be even better. I have cried over parts of this book as I felt all the joy and pain of its characters. Thank you Ms Hill for a truly captivating tale.

As others have said before me, no one does it like Joey W. Hill. Be prepared, this one is intense, even for her. I think it could stand alone, but I would suggest reading "Ice Queen" first. And to get the most out of it, read this as the fourth book of the "Nature of Desire" series. Her characters are so rich, it will help you get the most out of them and their stories.

2nd of a duo, so be sure to read Ice Queen first. LOVED this book. Beautifully written- I am sure I say that of most of her books. So tangible, painful, deep, real, moving and sizzling. Her style can't be described. You have to read one of her books to fully appreciate how she can grab you and throw you into a world she created. Her words are so beautiful and seductive it cannot be done justice by the likes of me.
