Book four in the Men in Love series.

Left alone and pregnant, Cory did the unthinkable and married the best friend of the man she loved. For seven long years Cory paid for her choice. She was finally set free from her torment the day her husband died.

Remy loved Cory, but was heartbroken when he returned after fighting overseas to find that she'd married his best friend.

When secrets and lies are revealed, bridges are mended and Cory and Remy embark on a new life together. Their happiness is soon threatened by the appearance of a mysterious gift and a phone call. Cory is convinced the voice on the phone is her dead husband. When an explosion threatens their lives, Remy decides it's time to call in favors. With the help of his friends, Remy's and Cory's lives are about to become complete.

I agree with Carrie. The sex scenes were great but the plot kinda sucked. And by that I mean having everyone deciding to hook up. I felt cheated when I first read it and even now (months later) I still feel kinda ripped-off. When I bought this book I thought it was going to be just Remy and Cory. I knew that there would be some group scenes but I didn't think it would turn out like it did. And not to make anyone mad but to me it kinda felt like they were cheating on each other. I'm all for loving whoever you want (no matter how many that may be) but it felt wrong. I felt like the characters from branded by gold should have stayed off limits relationship-wise. Jenny, Jake and Cree are perfect together and to me they seemed complete. Shoving Remy and Cory into the mix was just too much and not believable. I suppose that could go along with what Catherine was saying. ANYWAY IF YOUR A FIRST TIME CAROL LYNNE READER START WITH A DIFFERENT BOOK cause this one isn't her best.

I've read this book & re-read this book & I still don't get why all 5 hooked up. I really don't buy that they're in love, it appears to be just convenient sex & they're just saying they're "in love". And the plot is REALLY weak. There doesn't seem to have been much thought put into it at all. On the other hand the sex is really hot, so I'll give it 2 stars instead of 1 based on that.

Ok the story was decent and well written. I do like the couple I don't even mind the hook up with the trio. My issue is with some of the others. I would have felt better about the hook up if the ladies had also been into each. The sisterly love didn't seem enough or right. But that's my personal taste.

I wish the trio had stayed that way and the couple were just a couple. If the women had connected too it might have felt more balanced and I would have been able to adjust. As it is, later in the series it's really all the guys and not much else. Also, the making of this 5-some kind of diminished the first book in the series for me; how much "in love" can they be if people just keep joining in?

I love and hate this book. I love the characters. I hate the pain that some of them go through. I love the boys. I hate that people get hurt. I love that all of my characters have a fun HEA.

I have to agree with Debbie. I was like what?! when the two families merged. It was totally unexpected, but after reading it again it does feel better. Nothing so good as having an author challenge what you think would work out best.

I've read this entire series, and this one shocked me. I was no expecting it to turn out as it did. At first I was very upset because I didn't like the merging of the 2 families. I thought that he trio from branded by Gold should have stayed just the three of them. After reading this one the second time it was easier to digest. They really did come full circle, and hey, they are in love. That's all that is important.
