Determined to do what's right becomes a question of what is when passion explodes between her and Tony. Now there are not only his questions,but her own which she must find the answers to. Never has a woman discombobulated Tony Landry the way one look at Kristine has. One problem- she's made it very clear how she feels about his kind of practice. He's got one question for her- what happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? Now he has to prove himself-to her. The premise for this is a good one, but I think it could have been taken a bit deeper than it was. Even with the Happily Ever After endings that were so popular (and still are) there were opportunities to make this a more in-depth book that explored both characters. I did like the fact that neither were willing to give up without a fight for what they wanted and that this is about more than just a goody two shoes and a scuzzball.
