Star on 9/26/2010, said: Great series. Loved it. Very emotional. Did not think the alpha males were metrosexual at all as another reviewer stated. They were plenty alpha and a great storyline. Lauren stated the series is on hold for now but plans to contiue the storyline. I hope soon. Meanwhile, check out Enforcer and Trimates and then continue on in that series at another publisher. Shirley on 12/28/2009, said: I liked the first (Ascension) enough to read the second, but how quickly the heroines (who come from lives where trusting someone was not easy) changed was too rushed, hard to swallow. Yep, I know this is about werewolves - that's an unbelievable concept but this is erotic fantasy. My other peeve - "pseudo alpha males"! More like metrosexual wannabe alpha males who kids around with the other males like 14 year olds, with brief periods of alpha behavior. If you're looking for truly strong alpha male characterization, this isn't a book for you. Good plot with lots of interesting and quirky characters but just missed *it* for me.
