The love scenes were good and they didn't take over the book... there was an amazing story that tied them all together. The characters were well developed and you could feel the relationship between Shumei and Vallen develope, grow and blossom (rather than the instant 'i love you' of so many Romantica books). It was amazing! The storyline is soo interesting I couldn't put it down. I have read her fanfiction and decided to read her books and believe me I was not disappointed at all and neither will you! The way she writes had me sucked in on page 1. I also loved the detail, it felt like you could see them right in front of you. And the love scenes woooow the temperture went up in my room :P a MUST READ!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! the sequel is just as good! Lots of plot with sufficient tension. Too much detail, especially clothing. I don't need to know what they both wear every day or lots of architectural details, but maybe that's just me.
