R.S. on 8/29/2011, said: Overall, I wasn't disappointed and I think that is mainly because of the prose style. The plot was ordinary, charcters seemed down to earth. I did like that Jack seemed to be a regular guy who just happens to shape shift - rather than his beast being the dominant personality, which is what I see with other shifter shories. One thing that was a slight let-down was the suspense a bit lacking - it was resolved too quickly.
