Terri on 9/22/2010, said: It was enjoyable. Sex scenes could be hotter. It took them long enough to have sex, however. It would be nice to see into the govenment and know how the planet rules and its politics to make it a more rounded story instead of alpha takes mate to have babies storyline. I hope the next book delves into a more rounded view of the planet and politics. They also need to work on the relationship issues where it is just assumed that a female will accept them because of their mental connection. Claudette on 8/24/2010, said: I found the male characters were too arrogant and controlling despite their willingness to give all to Jessica. They never listened to her views or worries, just tried to seduce her into agreement. It was clear that the Alcandians thought that humans were too primate to have any opinions that were worthy of consideration. And that superior attitude and stubborness ruined the book.
