Young, pretty and sexually inexperienced, Vanessa Wallace is haunted by erotic fantasies she wouldn't dream of sharing with anyone. Alone in her bedroom, she plays a sensual game with her collection of sexy lingerie, tight skirts and bondage toys. The game is never meant to be shared — until the day Rob Taylor pays an unexpected visit, walks in on her private fantasy and takes the game in a dangerous new direction.

Caught in the act! Vanessa has been caught playing out a private fantasy, and now she has to pay the price. She began the game — but from now on, her sexy employer will be setting the rules.

Until now, their relationship has been innocent. Taylor is a friend of her mother's as well as Vanessa's boss. But the shameless tease in the shiny black corset isn't the girl Rob Taylor thought he knew. She's ripe and ready for a wilder game with a lover who won't take no for an answer. And he's just the man for the job.

Mabeuse is intense and earthy. His imagery is pure art – I could clearly see Vanessa all decked out in vinyl pushed up against her mother’s refrigerator. His heroes have human flaws. They think and feel just like real people. His bondage scenes feel true; the sex is hot and the emotions are raw. Vanessa could have a little more depth, she just couldn’t figure out what she wanted, the poor girl. Although her ambiguity is reflected in Taylor’s own. Not to spoil it, but the ending is perfect.

A good book, but as others have stated her repeated protests were annoying.

Terrible book. This is the one time I wish I could get a refund for a book. I didn't even finish reading the book, like the other person said, her protests were extremely annoying. It was not a good read at all.

This story was amazingly realistic. I felt like it was less like a fantasy story and more like a news reel. You didn't applaud the heroine or fall in love with the hero. This story was messier, more like real life. Not for the meek, the BDSM aspects were bold and brassy. The complaining heroine got a little old and the "use me like a slut" theme was redundant. The story itself was kind of harsh - not my style.

It was hot and I liked the May-December aspect, but I wish the woman had been more into it- her protests got annoying after awhile.
