But there seems to be someone who has found out that some of the leopard shifters have visions and this someone wants to corral and control those leopards. Josh is a bounty hunter and has taken the assignment to bring Chan in but something happens and he decides that Chan is his mate and he wants to keep her for himself. Chan doesn’t think anyone has the right to tell her what to do or how to live much less confine in their own personal herd. Although Chan and Josh start out fighting, the fighting soon turns to hot, wild sex. But can this turn into love strong enough not only to last a lifetime but to survive? While some parts of the story seemed to drag a bit, overall the book was an enjoyable read that did draw me in enough that I wanted to find out how it ended. Josh and Chan seemed a bit like the stereotypical couple that starts out fighting like mad only to fall into each others’ arms at one point for hot boogey sex. Nothing wrong with hot boogey sex, don’t get me wrong, but I was hoping for something a little more in the relationship.
