Amy on 5/23/2011, said: This follows the series and is really 4th as you can look at the book publication date and see At Love's Command was released a year before this. I think it was written as a back book. Anyway, it is short and not as well drawn out. Things seemed clipped. These characters don't play a part in the other books up to this one. You see only the Duke and Brett from the other books. You really don't need to read it to continue the story but it is a good short story just not up to the other stories in the series. The relationship between Val and Kurt seemed to be more the focus than the relationship between they and Leah. I was left a little disappointed in the characters and story development.
