A lot of it stretches credibility. But over all a good story.

Story could have been great but the way the story moved and developed, not to mention the dialog of the characters, took away from the story. I was ready to throw in the towel by page 15 but stuck it out. I don't think I will buy the rest of the books in the series of the writing does not improve.

I have to admit I agree with most of the other reviewers - the bad parts were dreadful, the characters weren't very developed, they were all overly open and honest with everyone and seemed to be the most well adjusted people in the universe-it was a bit "oh so my step-dad raped me, never mind -lets have sex now....." But, on the other side of the coin, there were a lot of touching scenes, some hot action and the plot was interesting (even if unbelievably predictable....) Still, I did read to the end without skipping bits...and I think I'll have a look at the next in the series. If you like a strong alpha male (or two...), intense action, suspense and a past that starts to catch up with them...you'll love the Men of August- starting with Marley's Choice by Lora Leigh...

It seems like I heard about this book forever before I finally picked it up. It is a wonderful book that opened my eyes to what m/m/f and a complete menage could be. This was my first m/m type of book, but it won't be my last.

The plot-line of this book really caught my attention. Unfortunately I never really connected with anyone in the book. As much as I wanted to love the characters it simply wasn't happening. I do not know how early this book falls in the author's writing career. Her words were stilted causing the emotions and dialoge of her character's in transitional scenes to seem very childish/fake. This is especially the case when the Heroes/Heroine are discussing a recent rape, then far too suddenly everyone is happy and life is good. This being said, I am still interested in reading the next book of this series. I can only hope Ms. Lynne's writing style improves with practice and experience. Should this be the happy case, I would dearly love to see this book rewritten and expanded.

This was the first book by this author that I read. I loved it so much!! At the time of reading she did not yet have anything else released, so I read it three more times until the next book came out. Read this, read this, read this! You will love it.

This was actually the first story I read before Ben's Wild Flower. (Yes, I was an idiot to waste my money on that) especially since the authors amature style writing is evident in the first book.

I know that I am not a writer. But if this wasn't the most predictable story that I have ever read. I could handle that but when she was in the SAME hospital as Buck and Cree and Jake didn't do anything. No wait they had sex.Real Smart. Thumbs down!!
