The sad thing is that Lora never finished the series, so the longer story arc, as well as the stories of Derek and Caitlin, and the even more twisted Joshua and Arianne, are never finished. However, I was a little more than disappointed in this book. I thought for sure that Lora could have done more with this book, as compared to the first book in the series. Shattered was wonderful, Shadowed was great, I just think that more could have happened in this book. The storyline was lacking somewhat. Things should have moved faster and involved more characters that what it did. It was like the story really did not connect with the second book ending the way it did. I hope Lora comes out with a book to pull it all together better, like she did with Dragon Prime. That book is connected and should be read before book 3 in this series. However, it has been four years since a book has come out and I seriously doubt one will. However, you must read this just to find out how it ends or almost ends.
