Sandi Brackeen
Sandi lives in Texas with a roommate, a Yellow Lab, a Rottweiler, and two cats. The animals were all rescues of one type or another, and she's a strong supporter of rescue and the fostering program. Sandi has always been an avid reader of mysteries, fantasies, and romances, and she likes being able to combine the three into one story. Her full time job is as a Detention Officer, and she also teaches English part time at the local Community College. She says she has a couple of degrees lying around somewhere, and she's been writing ever since she can remember; although, she took time off for work and school, and much of her previous writing has been geared more toward short stories and academic papers. Sandi has now switched to writing fiction and she has several more books in the works.
