Liz Jasper
Liz Jasper has always enjoyed writing but in college and graduate school she studied analytical things that would make her "marketable." She liked being a science teacher (most of the time) and has enjoyed her career switch as a business analyst. But no matter where her career has taken her, she has always found time to write. Most of her early writing was of the dirty limerick variety (one finds fun where one can while getting an MBA and an M.A. in Economics), but she progressed to short stories and now writes mysteries. And why humorous paranormal mysteries? After all those years teaching middle school science, writing about blood-sucking demons was only natural. Hailed by reviewers as "Janet Evanovich's heir apparent" and an author who "weaves romance and suspense wonderfully", her first novel, Underdead, won the 2008 EPPIE Award for Best Mystery. The sequel, Underdead In Denial, is coming soon.
Liz lives with her family and cranky grey cat in California where she is hard at work on her next book in the Underdead series.
