Award winning, multi-published author Marianne LaCroix started writing fiction in elementary school with a Christmas tale set under the sea and a cast of characters including a whale, an eel, and an octopus. She’s come a long way since and writes super steamy romance for Ellora’s Cave. Definitely not elementary school reading! Mari has received numerous recognitions for her writing such as two Romantic Times BOOKclub Reviewer Choice nominations, a Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature (PEARL) Honorable Mention, and a Cupid and Psyche Award (CAPA). She is active in Romance Writers of America and is founder and former President (2008-2010) of the Florida Panhandle Romance Writers (FPHRW) RWA chapter located in Tallahassee, Florida. In her spare time (?!?!) Mari loves reading on her Kindle, surfing the web, hanging out with her family, and gossiping on the phone with her best friend in Chicago.
