N. D. Hansen-Hill, a resident of Auckland, New Zealand, writes fantasy, science fiction, paranormal and horror novels, while her alter ego, Melody Knight, pens romantic prose. Whether horror novel or erotic novella, all of N.D.’s and Melody’s books are suspenseful. Two of her books were EPPIE finalists in the fantasy and horror categories, and five others have been finalists for the Sir Julius Vogel Award.
Recently she has been concentrating on single titles, rather than series. With a busy schedule that includes work as a professional artist and designer, N.D. stays in touch with science via university, where she is training in archaeology.
