Leda Swann
Leda Swann is the writing partnership of Brent and Cathy.
Born in Tennessee and brought up (mostly) in New Zealand, Cathy has lived in half a dozen US States, as well as England and Wales. She finally moved back to New Zealand with her life and writing partner and their four children. She spends her free time boating, swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and anything else that involves getting unpleasantly cold and wet on a regular basis.
For many years her family was convinced she would end up earning her living by writing the insides of mushy greeting cards. Instead she spent a few years as a university lecturer in English literature, then moved into information security, before escaping the corporate world to write novels.
Brent has also lived most of his life in New Zealand - when he wasn't working or traveling in Asia. A generalist (translation: very useful man to have around the house), he earns a living in telecommunications. The rest of his time is spent finishing building the Leda Swann house, photographing the underwater world, climbing mountains, helping raise four children and co-writing novels.
The two halves of Leda Swann have settled by the beach in a small coastal community in New Zealand, where they plan to live happily ever after.
